Agreement
By using Vela, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. App Store downloads are also subject to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
What Vela is
Vela is a platform that helps users sell unused gift cards to verified buyers or directly to Vela through Fast Sell. Approved sale value is credited to your in-app balance.
Not a bank
Vela is not a bank, payment institution, or card issuer. We do not guarantee that any buyer will accept a card, that a card is valid, or that a quoted rate will remain available. Issuers and merchants set their own rules.
Your account
You are responsible for your login details and for activity under your account. Provide accurate sale information. Uploading fraudulent, stolen, or invalid cards is prohibited.
Sales and review
All sales are subject to review. We or the selected buyer may decline a card, approve a partial value, or request clearer proof. Balance is credited only after approval.
Balance and withdrawals
Approved value is credited to your Vela wallet balance. Withdrawal methods, limits, fees, and timing are shown in the app and may change by country.
Fees and rates
Buyer quotes and Fast Sell estimates are shown before you submit. Final credited value may differ if review finds a different face value or card condition than stated.
Acceptable use
Do not use Vela for illegal activity, abuse other users, interfere with the service, or attempt to access data that is not yours.
Intellectual property
The Vela app, website, branding, and software belong to the developer or licensors. These terms do not transfer ownership to you.
Disclaimer
The service is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted access, specific rates, or that every card will be accepted.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of Vela. Liability limits that cannot be excluded under applicable law remain unaffected.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
